READING: The Poet's Companion, pages 39-51.
WRITING: It has come to my attention that I assigned different writing prompts in-class on Friday than those that I posted in the previous blog. Therefore, if you did the former for today's homework, do the latter for Wednesday; likewise, if you did the latter for today's homework, do the former for Wednesday. As a reminder, the two assignments were as follows:
Assigned in-class on Friday: The Poet's Companion, writing prompts 1 and 2 on pages 101 and 102.
Assigned (incorrectly) on the blog: The Poet's Companion, writing prompts 4 and 5 on page 113.
I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Again, for Wednesday's class session, complete which ever one of the above assignments you did not turn in during today's session.
